It’s that time of year. New resolutions, new goals, new you and a new planner!
ARC planner month printables
I haven’t been much of a planner girl, but I have always loved a fresh new planner with good intentions at the beginning of a year.  Last year I got a calling in the church and decided it was time for me to be serious about a planner.  I sought out my lovely sister, who has always been an excellent planner girl, and asked her what she has liked for planners.  Her response was the Staples Arc Customizable Planner.  So with her words of wisdom, this is the one I decided to start out with.  I love how versatile it can be!  If I miss a month or a few days, no biggie.  And even better, no wasted paper because that is how I customized it!  No guilt for me for not being too successful at having a planner last year.

Since is it a new year and the planner is customizable, it was time for me to design and print out new monthly sheets for my planner!  (Which is something that I did use all year.  Yay me!)  I have already shared it with my lovely sister and figured why not share it with everyone else.  So here you go.  I hope you enjoy this layout as much as we did last year!

O Holy Night – – FREE Printable

As the snow falls magnificently to the ground, these thoughts flow thru my head.

O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth

I have wanted the perfect print to add to my gallery wall for Christmas, and this song kept coming to mind, O Holy night.  While in the design process of this print, I had only intended to have the words in the corner.  But just as I got the print ready to share a with you, I realized the print just felt empty.  When I sat back down a few hours later to upload it to the blog, I was in awe as the design finally came to me.  The process of how I needed to do it just flowed as I began.  The finishing touch it needed was a manger with the Christ child laying in it.   This is truly an inspired by Kayla moment.  I hope that you enjoy this free Christmas print.  I personally can’t wait to print it and add it to my Christmas decor.

Over 24 Thanksgiving games for all ages!

I really enjoy planning fun Thanksgiving games to enjoy.  This year I was looking for some great ones that we could play at our family dinner and get all the young kids as well as the adults involved.  It always makes for a fun day and I really feel like it brings the family together.  It has always been a hit in the past and I feel it is now a tradition to have something fun planned.  The best is when everybody has to be a little bit crazy and get out of their comfort zone a little bit.

I saved the best for last because I believe the most fun times are when everyone gets to embarrass themselves a little bit.  Where everyone can let loose and just have a good time, especially for the adults in the crowd.  This site had some amazingly fun games that I cannot wait to try.

I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving and hold your loved ones close this year.  It is always a wonderful thing to be able to reflect on your year and see the many things there are to be grateful for.

Free Print – – If You Want To Give Light To Others You Have To Glow Yourself

Free print for you.  A great reminder that if we want to lift up others, we must glow ourselves.

This stood out to me while I was reading thru a talk from Neill F. Marriott, Sharing Your Light, from the October 2014 Ensign.  It says — President Thomas S. Monson pointed out, “If we want to give a light to others, you have to glow yourself.”  How can we keep that light of truth glowing within us?  Sometimes I feel like a dim lightbulb. How do we grow brighter?
